Porsche 996 Coil Pack Cracked Replacement

Replacing coil packs was a job that has been on my list for some time but was lower down the priority order as everything was working at the time. After getting the car back on the road after winter hibernation it has started misfiring and showing error codes for different cylinders. The coil packs are normally a prime culprit for this so it seemed to make sense to replace them as they appear to be original.

6 coil packs, 6 new spark plugs and spark plug tubes ordered from Frazerpart Porsche supplies and arrived yesterday.

After removing the first coil pack from the car - the easiest on cylinder 3 - it was clear what a poor state they were in. They may not be the sole cause of the misfire but they are certainly well past their best and needed replacement.
