This car is an early 996 C2 coupe with 3.4 engine/manual transmission and cable throttle. After nearly a year off the road being restored, my Porsche 944 now has a new MOT and is back running again. The car looks stunning in brand new Guards Red paint and all I need to do now are some finishing touches to complete the restoration.
Congratulations. I'm just trying to contact Restorester with regard to having my sills replaced. How long did it take them to do yours and what was the cost? Regards
Mine was quite a long process as I wasn't in any rush so the car was away for around 4 months. I ended up having a complete respray and quite a few new parts as I didn't think it was worth just painting the sides of the car. The total was still very reasonable for the work involved which was just over £4k
